How to Do Judy Hopps Inspired Bunny Ears Hair (Zootopia Style Short Video)

Have you ever dreamed of rocking those perfectly upright bunny ears just like Judy Hopps from the global hit Zootopia 2? You're not alone! It’s the ultimate look for Disney bounds, Easter parties, or your next cosplay event.

However, anyone who has tried to style their own hair into bunny ears knows the struggle—they usually just flop over sadly. But don’t worry! After much trial and error, I’ve finally mastered the secret to making bunny ear hair stay perfectly upright and adorable. Check out my video tutorial to see the magic in action!

📝 Hair Arrangement Tutorial:

Items Needed:

• Silicone hair elastics
• 3 Pipe cleaners (I used black ones from Daiso, a Japanese 100-yen shop. If you don't have a Daiso nearby, you can find these at any local dollar store or craft shop.)
• Hair pins or snap clips

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Create the Base (Symmetry is Key!)

Section the hair starting from around the temples. It is very important to make sure both the left and right sides are symmetrical. Tie with a silicone elastic, leaving a little slack. Then, perform a "topsy tail" (flip the ponytail through the gap above the elastic).
• Note: Don't worry about the slack now; we will tighten it later!

2. Attach the Pipe Cleaners

Take 3 pipe cleaners and bend the ends about 1.5cm to 2cm to create a small hook. Pinch the silicone elastic, hook the pipe cleaners through, and twist them so they are securely attached.
• Tip: In the video, I used green pipe cleaners to make it easier to see, but black is best for dark hair.

3. Braid to the Ends

Pull the topsy tail tight to secure it against the head. Now, braid the hair all the way to the ends, incorporating the pipe cleaners into the braid.
• Tip: If you don't want the pipe cleaners to show, lightly twist the hair strand as you braid to hide the wire inside.

4. Shape the Ears

Form a loop to the desired ear size and secure it with a silicone elastic.

5. Secure the Ears (The Most Important Step! ‼️)

If you just tie them, the ears will tend to fall toward the center. To prevent this, scoop a small amount of hair from underneath, split it into two, and braid it together with the "ear" braid.
• Crucial Point: Keep the braid as close to the scalp as possible. Ensuring the ears sit flush against the head and don't "float" is the secret to keeping them stable and cute!

6. Finishing Touches

While holding the base, secure everything with hair pins or snap clips. You're finished!

This DIY bunny hairstyle is surprisingly easy if you know how to braid. It’s perfect for your next trip to Disneyland, Disney World, or even just a fun Easter event! Give it a try and transform into everyone’s favorite bunny officer!

Easy Cinderella Hair Tutorial: Stunning Updo Using Only Hair Ties!

Are you a pro at making hair buns? Honestly,   I used to be terrible at them. I couldn't use hairpins properly, and even when I thought I’d finally made a decent bun, it would fall apart in minutes. Instead of a beautiful, round shape, my buns always ended up looking messy and lopsided. I used to be so envious of the moms who could effortlessly create perfect buns for their children. Driven by the simple wish of   "I want to be able to do a perfect bun too!"   I went through endless trial and error. Eventually, I discovered a technique to create a rock-solid bun   using only hair ties. I’ve done this hairstyle for my daughter countless times. Even after a full day of school, she comes home with her bun looking just as perfect as it did in the morning—it simply doesn't budge! When I shared this method with a friend, she was shocked and said,   "This is a total game-changer!"   I’m confident that after reading this, you’ll be saying, "Doing a bun is actua...
